Documentary Screening - The Last Crop
An intimate exploration into the lives of small family farmers Jeff and Annie Main of California's Central Valley. Inextricably woven within these organic pioneers' story is their ten-year pursuit to ensure that a farm need not be imperiled at the end of every generation. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Alex Hitt of Peregrine Farm, Edgar Miller of Conservation Trust for North Carolina and Andrew Branan of Agricultural and Resource Economics for North Carolina State University.
Co-presented by the NCSU Libraries and Center for Environmental Farming Systems.
Free and open to the public.
