Campus visitor permits
Visitor parking permits are available at the Visitor Information Booth
at $2 per day (see map above). Traveling east on Hillsborough Street, passing
the D. H. Hill Library on your right, turn right before the Bell Tower onto
Watauga Club Drive. Follow the visitor parking signs to the Visitor Information
Booth where they will direct you to the Coliseum Parking Deck, which is about
a five-minute walk from the D. H. Hill Library.
The Dan Allen Deck pay lot is also available for visitor parking. Traveling east on Hillsborough Street, before passing D. H. Hill Library, turn right onto Dan Allen Dr. The deck will be on the right. *
This pay lot only accepts $1 bills.
Purchase
visitor parking permits online up to two weeks prior to the visit
date. However, please note that the permit cannot be printed until
the day of the visit.

Other parking
Hillsborough Street has metered spaces along the side opposite the library, as do the cross streets just north of the library. They are enforced all hours: 9:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. every day except Sunday. The neighborhood just north of the library has street parking limited to 2 hours for those without a local residence permit, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and limited to those with permits from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.. During semester weekdays, these street parking places tend to be quite full.

Campus visitors may park for free at the Park & Ride lot at Carter-Finley Stadium. The free-of-charge Wolfline bus service (Route 6) runs between Carter-Finley Stadium and a stop right outside the D. H. Hill Library. The trip takes only 10 minutes, and buses run every 10 minutes during the fall and spring semesters. Please note that Park & Ride Lots may be particularly full on the following dates due to NCSU football games: October 27, November 10 and November 24, 2007.

After hours
Campus parking is free and open to the public after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and throughout the weekend, with a few posted exceptions. Free parking is available on the south side of Hillsborough Steet between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The metered spaces on the other side of Hillsborough and on the cross streets just north of the library are available after 5:00 p.m. and all day on Sunday.
